If you’re looking to boost your immunity naturally, I’m opening up my vitamin chest to reveal what works for me. Those of us who live a fast-paced lifestyle—filming DJs, working in the music industry, and staying immersed in the music community—I've had to figure out how to stay healthy while constantly on the go.

How I Stay Healthy as a Music Industry Professional or Enthusiast

Many of you ask me how I avoid getting sick despite long hours, frequent travel, and exposure to large crowds. I’m grateful for the holistic nutritionists, wellness experts, and online health resources that have guided me on my journey to better health.

To fully understand why I take my supplement routine seriously, let me take you back to where it all began. At 16, I came down with both whooping cough and pneumonia simultaneously.

Unfortunately, I was under the care of doctors who couldn't diagnose me correctly. As a result, I was sick for six months and spent the next year and a half recovering. Before getting sick, I was a top athlete—breaking records in swimming and excelling in volleyball—but during that time, I couldn't even climb stairs. Talk about an ego death.

This lead me to take my health into my own hands. I took control of my health by cooking my own meals, leaning into a mostly vegetarian diet, and shopping for organic food before it became trendy. Although, my friends and family saw me as being quite 'extra', I knew it was important for my wellbeing so I had to block out the noise.

My Supplement Routine for Immunity and Energy

Now in order to do what I love, which is to work and create in the music industry, I rely on a specific supplement cocktail to stay healthy. This routine keeps me going strong while traveling, attending events, and managing stress.

Best Practices for Supplements:

  • Prioritize getting vitamins and nutrients from high-quality whole foods.

  • Cycle on and off supplements to see what works best for your body.

  • You don’t need to take supplements year-round, as they can be costly.

Why Supplements Matter for Immune Health and Wellness

Maintaining strong immunity is crucial, especially if you live a high-stress, high-energy lifestyle like mine. Whether you’re traveling, working in crowded environments, or simply managing the demands of everyday life, the right vitamins and supplements can play a significant role in supporting your immune system.

However, it’s important to remember that supplements should complement a healthy diet, not replace it. Always aim to get the majority of your nutrients from whole, organic foods, and consult with a healthcare professional before making any changes to your supplement routine.
